Immerse your students in a world where dance connects with the natural environment, nurturing a deeper understanding of the planet and its ecosystems.

Program Overview

Dance Your Planet is an on-site school enrichment program for 1st–3rd graders that uses dance and creative movement to deepen children’s understanding of nature and the environment. Through music, guided exploration, and age‑appropriate science concepts, students learn to express natural features and processes with their bodies. Each lesson blends structure with imagination, helping young learners build self-discipline, creativity, and joy all at once.
Vision
Children long to be connected to their world. One of the ways they connect is through movement. Play is the work of a child, and movement is an essential form of play. This program offers children a unique perspective on the world - one gained by the physical work and play of dance. As the mind and body connect through dance, concepts about nature become more clear and profound. This new knowledge gained by children deepens their appreciation of the living planet that includes them; an appreciation that carries over into all aspects of their lives.
